Get ready for a summer of hands-on STEM adventures across Denver. From coding and 3D printing to glassblowing and mine exploration, CodeDenver is where curiosity meets career-building.

What to Expect:

  • Daily Schedule: Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM. Sessions kick off at 9:00 AM.

  • Location: MSU Denver (with field trips to top STEM sites)

  • No Camp Days: June 19 and July 4

  • Special Overnight Experience: Students will stay at Colorado School of Mines from June 30 to July 3. Transportation provided.

  • Field Trips Include:

    • NOAA

    • Lockheed Martin

    • Edgar Mine

    • Denver Water

    • And more!

We Provide:

  • Breakfast, snacks, and lunch

  • All transportation

  • No cost for accepted students

How to Apply

  1. Please fill out the application below and submit it by June 4. You must be at least 16 to fill out this application. If you are not, please have your parent or guardian complete and submit this application!

  2. Applications are reviewed, and selected students will receive an acceptance email.

  3. Complete the Pre-Program Survey to confirm your spot.

  4. Attend a mandatory family orientation call to prepare for the experience.

Code Denver is not just a summer program—it’s an immersive experience where students explore real-world STEM applications, engage with industry leaders, and develop skills that will shape their futures.

This free program provides hands-on learning in technology, engineering, and innovation, giving students the chance to code, design, and build while visiting top STEM organizations.

What to Expect

During the program, students:

  • Spend four days and nights at the Colorado School of Mines, where you’ll experience cutting-edge technologies firsthand

  • Learn to code, 3D print, and build structures, applying real-world problem-solving skills

  • Go behind the scenes at aerospace, medical, and environmental organizations to see how STEM is shaping our world

  • Step inside a real working mine, exploring geology, engineering, and environmental sciences

  • Engage with top university faculty and industry mentors who will guide you through career pathways in STEM

  • Work on hands-on projects that bring innovation to life, culminating in a final presentation that showcases your skills

This program, which includes collaborating with peers and meeting professionals working on the frontlines of technology, is designed to inspire, challenge, and prepare you for the future.

Participation in all program activities is required. This is not a drop-in program—students must commit to attending the full experience.
